A Taste Of A Nightmare
A Taste Of A Nightmare, is a vision of a continuation of the subconscious mind in which to taste a vision of the night through a child's eyes, visions are conjured up with such an essence of emotional innocence and not motivated to cause fear or distress, but to question what does the darkness of night bring. The children fear what they do not know, just as we do as adults.
The difference between the two is a child tends to face the fear head on and questions with guidance, where as adults most often use avoidance and denial of fear. Although this is only an individual opinion conquered up in my mind. As a victim of a never ending nightmare it is my creation of visions within art that I can face my fears!
Patrick John Mills Gallery solo Exhibit
The devil within me looks into the hour glass of time and their is a sense of elusive, gluttonous jealousy which is not justifiable. The essence of accomplishment that Patrick John Mills has acquired is justified by the goals he has set for himself, are far surpass the quality of his work and wealth as an individual whom should be held in high esteem both as an artist and the person to which he has become. I see the person in Patrick, that which I would like to see in myself in the future. The future of success is their for me I know, to follow by example is the key, as well as going for what we want and not just waiting for it to happen. Success is not measured in monetary values.
Way to go Patrick, I take my hat of to you!

Just a Sample
This is a sample of new works in progress, it will be a series of artists whom have influenced my art in one way or another. Each piece will incorporate portraits and my version of their style of work! Now just because I say they influence my subconscious, doesn't matter how nor why, just an urge I guess to challenge the integrity of their work as well as my own? To feel the emotion of another artists work, by way of producing your own version of it, I find is very over whelming at times, but empowering in a sense of self accomplishment for now if I can mimic their work why can't I do my own no excuse?
