The painting that's not done?

The painting that's not done?
Without any forethought this particular painting sort of done itself, I feel that the paint was guiding me. The watercolor paper began to be distressed as the palliative strokes began to take shape. The question is this painting really done or is there more work to do, I had not made a decision for I was to physically drained.

The ill hearten artist the beginning!

Here is the sculpture I'm currently working on. Although i never give a piece of art a title until completed, for this one I broke my golden rule. When I saw this muffler on the side of the road, could not resist the temptation
to bring out the new welding torch!

The Fiscal & Emotional Pain (Ill Of Health)

Ill health is not a topic of great, nor true subjective form of discussion amongst the dinner table or social gatherings but people do! The subject of ill health is the threshold of a new body of work I'm continuously
expanding on, my way of expressing and hopefully evoke an awareness of this issue. For now I will not go into a long discussion on this topi, but forewarned some of whats about to be seen are images...
Well just say not for everyone's eyes!!!

ARTIST P.GREENE: What is art to an Artist...

ARTIST P.GREENE: What is art to an Artist...

What is art to an Artist...

What is art to an artist...
Keep in mind that this is just my own opinion, despite I'm sure some do have about the same opinion, what is art but an obsession that can drive oneself crazy and near to the brake of death both figuratively and literally. The problem is how do we as artists find our artistic voice, well the answer lies within and we never know if and when it will emerge for creating the next great master piece is always within us. So the compulsiveness to create that master piece consumes our minds and our lives. How do we deal with it, well we go on creating with the knowledge that all the while we are exposing ourselves!

Sunny Sunday...

Despite being a little out of the weather, nature was calling me... I was not going to be deprived of this moment of time to capture a glimpse of it! With paint brush and knife in hand I started concurring the craving to capture the light bouncing off the thick of the land I could hear the soft winds blowing as it danced around the trees... I could see only the reflections of the light, so just as a conductor directs the orchestra I felt my brush and knife touching the paint, then onto the surface of the panel where the moment will be etched for the future... moreover it was a beautiful sunny Sunday!

Urban Faces

www.blogger.com/">Urbanization is what we are unfortunately surrounded by!
Urban faces is the title of this piece, which is the perfect name.
If we could see all the faces associated with each and every city building, just imagine the faces of past present and future?
Although without the ability of speech, tell the unknown stories about the experiences of both buildings and humans associated with this urbanization of man. The faces emerging with the wounds of life, both building and people a like.
