Painting on Location

Painting on Location
Painting on location is an opportunity that should not be ignored for it is one of the best learning tool for an artist!

First of all, not to mention the health benefits of being outdoors. Painting on location is a tool I believe helps the artist to deal with various subject matter as well as conditions you would not have to deal with in a studio environment, as an artist I have witnessed first hand that the environment can change in an instant, therefore forcing the artist to paint very quickly but with control.

I could go on and on about this subject matter, but it would make for a boring topic of discussion for anyone whom has not experienced painting on location.

Artists Transgressions

Artists Transgressions

The title of a live blindfolded painting

Oh to paint live and blindfolded, just going by instinct and the pure spontaneity of the movements of the artist as the brush, pallet knife and body touch the canvas.

I have experienced such a feeling of freedom, throwing caution to the wind in the movement of the classical music within thine ears as it takes me to a place of pure serenity, such blissfulness that can not be described into words!

I truly enjoyed performing live on the same stage as

NAKED,NAKED,NAKED

PATRICK YOU THE MAN At Naked,Naked,Naked Patrick you guessed it... Patrick John Mills got his groove on with one of the ladies and tared up the gallery floor, he also kicked up some dirt in the dance pit in the yard..Good times, good times, let's all live the dream!

Always a cloud with a silver lining!

Their is always a cloud with a silver lining, so they say. But with some regret we in Ottawa have to say ado for Patrick John Mills events are gone but not forgotten and will stay etched within our minds and hearts!
Things are not entirely lost for we still have hopes and dreams, such as Patrick. We will all come to terms with this city's policies of enforcing bylaws within our communities. As sad as it may be, people hopefully will become aware of how important the arts are to our communities past and future. Yes the city bylaw authorities were doing their job but to what gain to a pees one or two tax payers, whom were to cowardly to try to come to a better conclusion. Where is the silver lining you maybe asking, well if you know Patrick Mills at all, the dream is not dead. The heart and soul are still alive, I'm sure the show will go on!

Anticipation!

The Mail Order Bride

Anticipation of the biggest art party was upon us as we rushed around all in a glee like frenzy just as children do on Christmas it just can not come to soon for the fun and pleasurable moments to come We all rejoice for it was better than Christmas, for we all enjoy the most beautiful of gifts, the greatest of presents art art and more art in so many forms to celebrate art, thanks to everyone , I can not possibly mention all the names so thank you one and all!

Contemplation Over Coffee

contemplation over coffee I just ventured from art supply store and joined in coffee with friends which was going to only be a one coffee day for me! I stayed on after for another one and started contemplating, which  can be self destructive at times... Well-defined association of the physiological analogies is not one of my strong suit, so like any self respecting individual I stop thinking negatively and start thinking about the positive side of life!
